Peter Redman

Managing Director – Property

 

Pete Redman heads TradeRisks’ Policy and Research function and is Managing Director of Property for ReSI Capital Management Ltd. He joined TradeRisks in 2013. Pete was educated at the University of Cambridge where he studied Engineering, and History and Philosophy of Science. With a family background in property and house building he started as a rent collector for Islington Council, moving on to develop housing for Holloway Tenant Co-operative, and then as part of Circle 33 Housing Trust’s executive management team to build one of the country’s largest housing investment programmes. 

He has been Chief Executive of Leeds Federated HA, Notting Hill Housing Group, FCH Birmingham, London’s largest ALMO Lambeth Living and responsible for the Area Management Teams of London’s largest landlord – Southwark Council, a past Chair of the London Housing Federation and of the RIBA Housing Client Forum, and is Chair of Ducane Housing Association. In all settings Pete is known as an innovative leader and has pioneered much of the policy development that shapes the social housing sector today. He continues to be a progressive force within housing policy research whether it is for housing clients, think tanks or academia.
