TradeRisks Limited and Warrington Borough Council Announce Launch of The Gateway
TradeRisks Limited and Warrington Borough Council have today announced the launch of the Public Sector Investment Gateway (the Gateway) for the delivery of financial services to UK Local Authorities and other government regulated entities that includes a peer-to-peer lending and investment platform
The Gateway is operated by Public Sector Investment Gateway Limited, authorised and regulated by the FCA and provides the following services:
An online funding and investment platform to create a liquid market for lending and investing between local authorities and other government regulated entities in the United Kingdom. The platform is easily accessible and uses standardised documentation making it very easy to view funding and investment opportunities and execute online. The platform allows users to enter into investment and funding transactions directly with other public sector entities without the need to intermediate through banks or brokers
Advice on treasury management and accounting, market date intelligence, and access to a state-of-the-art Treasury Management Systems that provides all necessary market valuations, risk management, performance measurements and accounting tests
Advice on all aspects of both public and private capital markets funding, including best execution governance
Structuring and placement of public bonds through private auctions
Arranging safe custody
The Gateway, launched at today’s CIPFA Treasury Management Network Annual Conference, expects 2-3 other Local Authorities, chosen to be geographically spread across the UK, to join as partners in the next few months.
