TradeRisks expands its transaction and advisory teams

TradeRisks is pleased to announce the appointment of two experienced professionals across a range of disciplines as part of the firm’s continued growth in its capital markets and advisory offering, and expanding its proprietary derivatives platform, TRLX (formerly known as TRL Exchange and OTC Exchange), also as a capital markets funding interface.

“Many of our clients are turning to the capital markets as a source of long term funding. The expansion of our team with experienced capital markets professionals further enhances our ability to structure solutions which are optimal for all parties, and increases participation by long-term investors in end-user to end-user markets” said Alex Pilato, Chief Executive of TradeRisks.

“We see significant future growth in the use of capital market instruments to fund or refinance infrastructure assets in the UK and Europe and TradeRisks is optimally placed to leverage this trend. As part of this development, we believe that TRLX can provide a level playing field for bond investors of all sizes through the use of high-quality, standardised disclosure to facilitate the risk assessment and pricing of these traditionally illiquid assets.”

Thomas Pleydell is a qualified accountant and joins TradeRisks from the Financial Modelling team at PwC. Thomas has experience across the banking, private equity and infrastructure sectors, on both the financial modelling side, and prior to this as part of the audit team at PwC. Thomas will be part of the firm’s risk advisory team, providing corporate finance and treasury advice, as well as transaction support.

Bryony Harrap is a qualified accountant and tax expert and joins TradeRisks from the International Tax and Transfer Pricing team at EY. Bryony joins TradeRisks to support the TRLX platform, and her role will include ensuring completeness of information and information symmetry across transactions on TRLX. Bryony has experience of credit rating analysis, financial modelling and tax advisory across a range of sectors.
